Mijn eigen plekje!

Deze maand werken we aan onze mindset. Want met alleen gezonde voeding ben je er nog niet. Stress, drukte en emoties kunnen factoren zijn die je lichaam blokkeren. Zo maakte ik zelf mee dat ik in een periode van stress absoluut niet afviel, ondanks een gezond voedingspatroon. Ook zit je soms vast in je ritme, routines en overtuigingen, ook wij kennen dat. Des te meer een reden om even goed de tijd te nemen voor jezelf.

Met-time
Maar wat is nou eigenlijk me-time? Het zegt het al, tijd voor jezelf. Doen waar je blij van wordt of juist even helemaal niks doen. Maar hoe doe je dat in de gehaaste wereld van nu! Als ik namelijk één tel op de bank zit is het veel, er is constant afleiding, een vraag of hulp nodig van en voor een ander. Al die ballen hoog houden is soms lastig, maar alleen als je zelf een beetje afstand neem kun je me-time plannen.
Plannen juist ja, me-time komt niet vanzelf, dit moet je afspreken met jezelf. Wat ga je doen, waar en wanneer. Voor mij is er in huis weinig me-time, ik heb twee jonge kinderen en het bedrijf van mijn man is aan huis, dus hebben wij veel mensen over de vloer.

Hoe?!
Ik besloot dat ik een plek wilde om mijzelf terug te kunnen trekken, even relaxen, rustig kunnen lezen of tv kijken. Onze zolder is daar een goede plek voor, maar tot nu toe had de zolder niet echt mijn prioriteit. Me-time komt niet vanzelf, je moet een keuze maken dat je het anders wilt en de consequenties overzien. Ik besloot dat ik echt elke dag even een ½ uurtje wil kunnen ontspannen. Dat kan ik realiseren door van de zolder een fijne plek te gaan maken. 
Kortom de handen uit de mouwen om van een kale zolder een relax plek te maken. Ik begon met het opschrijven van mijn wensen, wat wil ik in me-time doen en dat alles onder genot van een bakkie koffie. Ik wil dat doen in een ruimte die warmte en rust uit straalt. Ik ging opzoek op het internet naar leuke meubels bij BasicLabel en schakelde styliste Bianca van Beelen in om mee te denken. Kortom deze keuze is niet halfbakken, nee di is rigoureus aanpakken en investeren!

Waarom?
Waarom is een eigen plekje of me-time  nou zo belangrijk? Ons brein maakt overuren en we staan altijd maar klaar, is het niet op het werk dan bij vrienden, op school, voor familie of voor je partner. We gaan maar door en eigenlijk zijn we nooit echt tevreden. Want als we tevreden zouden zijn, dan zouden we niet zoveel meer jagen en willen doen. Acceptatie, tevredenheid en me-time liggen dus dicht bij elkaar. 
We doen ons toch vaak net even anders voor, of je kan ook zeggen we passen ons vaak aan in situaties, we vragen van onszelf flexibel te zijn en dat kost bergen energie. Daarom heeft iedereen oplaadmomenten nodig, of dat nu veel of weinig is, het maakt je een leuker mens!

De afgelopen weken hebben we je al een kijkje gegeven waar we mee bezig zijn om onze mindset ook gezond te houden, tenslotte kun je ook je hersens voeden en trainen. Ook de stappen tot het aanpakken van je wensen is pittig om te komen tot het resultaat wat je voor ogen hebt.
